Students were accompanied by their parents and guardians from various Dzongkhags, marking the start of an exciting new chapter in their academic and personal lives. The reporting process was made smooth and welcoming through the dedicated support of the Council for Education, Transformation, and Advocacy (CETA) under the guidance of the Student Services Division (SSD). CETA members assisted new students with registration, hostel room identification, and transporting luggage to their assigned residences, ensuring that every student felt welcomed from the moment they arrived on campus.
The day concluded with a lively Brew & Bonding Night, organized by CETA, where new students had the opportunity to interact with one another, build friendships, and become acquainted with the vibrant CNR community in a relaxed and friendly environment.
As part of the induction programme, a comprehensive Orientation Programme was conducted on 28 July 2026 to help students prepare for campus life and academic success. The orientation covered a wide range of important topics, including:
General Academic Rules and Regulations
Student Research
General Student Body and Administration
Student Code of Conduct
CNR Welfare Scheme
Financial Rules and Regulations
ICT Services
Laboratory Use Norms
The orientation sessions provided valuable information and practical guidance that will help students navigate academic requirements, understand college policies, access essential support services, and make the most of their time at the College of Natural Resources. The programme was designed to equip students with the knowledge and confidence needed for a successful and enriching stay at CNR.
The College extends its sincere appreciation to all parents, guardians, faculty, administrative staff, and CETA members whose dedication and support made the welcoming programme a memorable experience for our newest members.
Welcome to the CNR family! We wish all our new students a rewarding academic journey filled with learning, growth, meaningful experiences, and lasting friendships.
